Volunteer Treekeepers are critical to our efforts

  • They care for new and vulnerable trees
  • They work with property owners including foreign missions
  • They learn best practice in urban tree care

Rewards

  • Meet others who want to re-green the city
  • Work with personnel at embassies
  • Be invited to Restore Mass Ave events
  • Receive Urban Tree E-news which has helpful items on city tree policy,
how to work with city agencies, and advice from experts

You can work on your own or in teams, help specific trees or ‘float’ to different projects.
Volunteer sessions last ~2 hours. Schedules are flexible.

Don't know about trees?
Many Treekeepers start with little or no knowledge.
Restore Mass Ave passes along the knowledge of expert advisors.

Not from our area?
Our volunteers learn how to save trees where they live.
RMA Volunteers also get e-news about local work around the country from the Alliance
for Community Trees
, a national network of nonprofits helping community forests.
